ΚEΠ15 - Educational Policy and Policies of Employment Tutor: Andreas Feronas, Yiouli Papadiamantaki Semester: 8th Short Description: Adopting an interdisciplinary perspective, this course aims to explore important dimensions in the relationship between educational policy and policies of employment in the current conjuncture. Globalisation and the rapid technological and social changes have placed Education and Lifelong Learning (L.L.L.) at the centre of the educational policy of the European Union. At the same time, Education and L.L.L. are considered basic components of ‘active’ policies of employment, purporting to help with the smooth integration and mobility of individuals within the labour market. The Course focuses on the analysis and interpretation of the dominant trends in education policy and the policies of employment seeking to explore their multiple and complex relationships both within the E.U and at national level.
