Applicants to the Postgraduate Programme of Studies should hold at least a first cycle degree from a university or technological institution in Greece or abroad and meet the minimum English language requirement of good knowledge (B2 level).

Application and selection process

Applications for the Programme are submitted in early summer each year. You can find information on the specific dates and required supporting documents on the Faculty website and by contacting the Postgraduate Programme secretariat.
Postgraduate student selection is based on a written examination followed by an interview and an overall evaluation of the prospective student’s qualifications, and is performed by the Selection Committee for Postgraduate Students of the Faculty of Social and Education Policy.

In order for candidates to be invited to an interview they need to achieve a score greater than or equal to five (5) in the written examination.

The assessment of candidates is based on the following criteria and the related weighting coefficients:

  • Written examination: 65 %
  • Interview rating: 25%
  • First cycle degree grade: 10%.
