The MSc in Educational Policy: Planning, Development, and Administration of the Department of Social and Educational Policy has been operating since the academic year 2018-19. The program focuses on the production and dissemination of knowledge and expertise through the development of conceptual tools, methodologies, and research findings in the field of Educational Policy.

Within this framework, the program aims both to advance research in Educational Policy and to deepen theoretical knowledge and specialization for graduate students. It equips them with the necessary skills for their academic and professional careers while fostering their active participation in the country’s social development and the advancement of education within the contemporary European and international context.

The program specializes in postgraduate education and theoretical deepening for scientists from various disciplines in topics related to Education, Human Resources, and Employment Policies. These intersecting fields connect the Sociology of Education, the Sociology of Work, Organization and Administration, Social and Educational Policy, Training Policies, Lifelong Learning, Human Resources in the era of globalization, Career Counseling, Labor Economics, and Work Organization.

More specifically, the program is linked to the advancement and/or specialization of knowledge provided in departments such as Sociology, Social and Educational Policy, Economics and Social Studies, and Pedagogical Studies. It offers an academic perspective and attracts students from these disciplines, targeting university graduates with relevant backgrounds, as well as professionals with academic knowledge and experience in education and social initiatives related to the economy, production, education, and labor sectors.

The program aims to provide high-quality education leading to a specialized master’s degree in education, Human Resources, and Employment Studies.
