The MSc in Social Policy has been operating since the academic year 2018-19. The objective of the program is to generate and disseminate knowledge by developing conceptual, methodological, and research tools in the broad interdisciplinary field of Social Policy. Within this framework, the program aims to:
- Promote research in the field and subfields of Social Policy.
- Deepen theoretical knowledge and specialization in Social Policy, providing comprehensive skills for further academic and professional careers.
- Foster active and informed participation in social development and well-being within a complex and demanding national and European context.
The objectives of the program are:
- To offer high-level graduate studies.
- To systematically develop knowledge and skills for a successful career in academia/research or/and professional practice in the field of social policy.
- To build capacities for designing and implementing social policies at both macro (national-supranational) and micro (specific fields) levels.
- To provide methodological knowledge and analytical skills for doctoral studies.
